During an acupuncture session, we will talk, to know you and your body, you will lie down on a comfortable table while the acupuncturist will diagnose you by reading your pulse and looking on your tongue, then he will insert very thin and gentle needles into specific points on your body, maybe he will use a various tools in addition, like Cupping, Moxa, Gua-Sha and more. After the needles will be apply, you may feel a slight prick or a sensation of warmth or heaviness. You will then relax for about 20-30 minutes before the needles are removed.
It is recommended that you wear loose, comfortable clothing to your acupuncture session. It is also best to avoid eating a heavy meal, or consuming alcohol or coffee before your appointment,
but from other side it's preferable not to arrive on empty stomach.
It is preferable not to apply any kind of lotion or oil on your skin.
Unfortunately, not working with insurances, but you can try claim coverage from your insurance by sending your receipt.
